Fabric-Felt Card Challenge

I loved so much the theme of Lilly's Pad Card challenge... What a great idea a card using fabric or felt!!! I like felt as a material but never before i have used it on a card.
For this card i cut felt and some fabric pieces to make the little girl. For the backround i applied some distress inks to my acrylic block, misted some glimmer mist and then stamp on a ivory paper (thanks Alex for your idea ;) Unfortunately the shining of glimmer mist is not visible to the photos :( Finally i cut the fence with my cricut then i embossed it and painted it with walnut stain distress ink.
So this is my entry to the challenge:

Wish me once more good luck!

toot toot- beep beep

Few days ago i finally received a couple of new stamp sets i have ordered almost three weeks ago! The "paper smootces" stamps are so cute!!!! One of the sets i bought was the spiffy scooters

I chose this set because everytime i want to make a masquline card i donn't know what to use all my stash is so girly...Then i read about the challenge #64 of Wee Memories

what a weird coisidence i thought....perfect opportunity to try my new stamps. I made a simple card and i really enjoyed coloring the scooter. It took me some time to make it look rather old and i have to say luck helped me :D . So this is my entry to the challenge hope you like it.

As cute as a bug's ear...

Bugs are not my best friends....From ants to ladybugs (which are supposed to be cute...) i dislike them. I could live without any bug at all but nature chain demands their existance so i have to compromise...Challenge me monday of Fantabulous Cricut ask us this week to get buggy!!! Harsh for someone who dislike bugs. For my first attempt i tried to use an ugly bug to make a beautiful card and i chose a grasshopper. Donn't know why but the result wasn't good enough. Here is the first card i made:

Then i decided to try with a ladybug. This time the result was better. I used the cartridge Paisley to cut the ladybug and the cartridge "Walk in my garden" to cut the flower. This card came up more "girly" and this is maybe the reason i liked it more. What do you think?

As i did n't know if i could entry both cards (the little grasshopper was looking at me with his crazy eyes and his big smile that i didn't want to heartbreak him...)I decided to link the ladybug card hoping for grasshopper's forgiveness...

I wish you all a nice "non buggy" afternoon ;)

Challenge me monday #71

I like so much the challenges of Fantabulous Cricut!!! So inspiring...Did you know that July 30 was the friendship day??? Neither did i...This week challenge is to make a fun project for a friend to celebrate the friendship day. My friends are so precious to me. I have "old" friends and "new" friends, "real" friends and "net" friends, i have "family" friends (my sisters are my closers friends) and "non-family" friends and i love them all so much! I made a card dedicated to each and every one of them! I used my "Paisley" cartridge to cut the elephant. So this is my entry to the challenge:

I wish you all a nice afternoon and i leave you with a quote by Helen Keller which is one of my mottos:
"I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light."
